Case Study
Explore how the cloud-based nCino Bank Operating System® enabled Texas Farm Credit to reduce the number of systems used in loan originations from nine to just one, and how this change impacted both the customer and employee experience.
The Challenge
Texas Farm Credit sought a digital end-to-end loan operating system that would:
- Improve speed to market in order to remain competitive within a rapidly changing industry;
- Be compliant with Farm Credit System regulations;
- Eliminate duplicative entry and reduce the number of systems used by staff;
- Allow for faster employee onboarding;
- Increase workflow efficiency and reduce time to close;
- Eliminate paper files and improve data and document storage;
- Scale to meet current and future needs of a growing enterprise; and
- Provide a better customer experience through a fully digital interface.
The Solution
Texas Farm Credit went live on nCino’s Bank Operating System® with the Commercial Banking Solution and Customer Portal and Online Applications features in February 2020, just before a majority of the Cooperative’s workforce went fully remote due to the COVID-19 pandemic. nCino has enabled Texas Farm Credit to obtain significant time savings and efficiencies through the deployment of a single, cloud-based platform.
The Results
Texas Farm Credit has achieved phenomenal results since implementing the nCino Commercial Banking Solution, including:
- Closed a record $400 million in loans in the first nine months following implementation;
- Processed over 2,000 servicing actions;
- Achieved a 93% employee favorability rating for the system just 90 days after go-live;
- Reduced the number of systems used in loan originations from nine to just one;
- Shortened employee training time to just one to two weeks; and
- Improved customer engagement and satisfaction.
““With nCino’s dashboard capability, we have access to a wealth of information, and we run all of our loan servicing actions through nCino. We can see, in real time, all loan servicing actions that are pending, that are waiting for information, and we’re able to monitor that and keep things moving through the system at a pace that we were not able to achieve previously.”
